'It's not fair, it's not right and it shouldn't happen'

Coventry Rugby Chief Executive Nick Johnston has labelled the
suggestion that the RFU will allow Wasps to relaunch as a
Championship rival in Solihull next season “mind-boggling.”

You have to say the man has a point. I don't blame him for being
rather annoyed I think I would be every bit as annoyed if I was
       him.

I do sympathize with him, but he muddles his case somewhat. In
the first half of the article, he talks of how Wasps are being
allowed to move within 10 miles of Coventry's ground while
playing in the Championship, while later on he asks why Wasps
were allowed to avoid the rule of a phoenix club having to play
at the former clubs' ground for at least three years, which
would have meant Wasps playing in the Championship at a much
closer ground than the one being mooted going forward.

it's a strange one, I live only a few miles from the Solihull
Moors football stadium, yes Coventry isn't that far away, but I
doubt it would affect their supporter base. I assume they are
bemoaning the fact that Wasps have been added to the
championship, but that was their punishment for going into
       administration.
Locally there are plenty of community clubs, and Moseley RFC is
quite close too....as far as I'm aware Moseley haven't
complained (I know they aren't in the Championship, but they are
the playing at the highest level of clubs in the area) .

Well I'd hope you could give a more cohesive rant. The bloke's
       all over the place.

I think his point was really just that the RFU seem to be
bending over backwards to flex whatever rules need flexing just
to keep Wasps as close to the top of the rugby tree as possible.
It's understandable that the RFU might wish to do that, as Wasps
is undeniably one of the big names from a marketing perspective
(and arguably Worcester's differing treatment is because they're
not), but I do fully sympathise with Coventry.

There's no evidence that Worcester have been treated
differently. They just had their bid rejected by the RFU. They
didn't want to play anywhere else so you can't use that as a
       comparison.

How come these two clubs are not receiving the same punishment
as London Welsh did. And will they have to abide by the same
       stadium rules as Ealing Trailfinders.
