Parking for central London on Strike days - Off Topic

Nothing to do with Big Game so apologies - just want to test the
       strreet savviness of the group.
I have to go up to central London (from Hampton) tonight for an
event that is non negotiable! Was going to take a bus to
Hounslow East then the Piccadilly line but, as buses are on
       strike too, I am stymied.
Cunning plan #1 is now to drive up to somewhere like Hammersmith
(or Ealing) where I can park up and jump on the tube. Does
anyone know of a spot I can park for free close to a suitable
       tube station.
       Any pointers gratefully received.

If it’s any help, there are trains running from Surbiton to and
from Waterloo. Though the last train back is before 6 so might
be too early. Remember the tube is running so if you can park
near Hounslow or Richmond then that’s a possibility.

Many thanks - unfortunately it's going to be a latish one so
Surbiton won't work. Also the Richmond branch of the District
line is not working cos the signalling on that stretch is
managed by the striking bunch. I think Piccadilly line is best
bet so yes, Hounslow, Hammersmith etc..

       I wouldn't go.
I would have just tested positive for Covid, so I can't go, can
       I?

Don't think that's the case anymore, although Stoopendous's
fellow event goers might not be chuffed.

You can try Osterley if any parking on the Great West Road is
free if not pay for car park. Otherwise go to Westfield and take
Central line. Finally on street’s around
Paddington/Lancaster Gate meters finish at 6:30pm but have a max
stay of 4 hours whilst meters are in effect but won’t be
       an issue after 2:30pm.
