Harlequins women back on track

Rather than watch Quins men on TV (I recorded it) I ventured up
to the Stoop to watch us play Sale Sharks women. I am glad that
I did ! On a cold but sunny day I was pleased to see a vintage
Quins display (and this without some of our internationals !).
40-3 was the final score. Shaunagh Brown played her 1st game of
the season and was rightly player of the match. Bella Mackenzie
was imperious at fly half and Lagi Tuima scored a brilliant try
thanks to deft handling skills & anticipation. All in all, a
great team performance and, after the game, it was great to
witness the high morale of the players. They are a serious unit
& will be pushing for honours again. COYQ's !!

Bella McKenzie is a quality acquisition. Did very well to get
her.

It’s shaping up to be quite a competitive season - the upcoming
game vs Exeter will be pretty telling for Quins.
It’ll also be interesting to see whether Saracens can get their
season back on track as their RWC players start to return.

Was there also in my many layers, and kept warm throughout by
getting out of my seat to cheer on the tries!
Amazing that Lagi hasn't got more England caps, she is quality,
ball in hand and on the boot. Bella has made a difference to us,
along with Kaitlin in the second row, alongside in the second
row, Sarah Bonar, our backup fly-half (if you know, you know!).
With Ellie, Lucy, and Vicki to come back, we've got a squad to
do very well this season. Will be at Twickers early to cheer
them on also.
