Think Quins will look at someone like Jacob Umaga, signed for
Benetton until the end of the season. Plenty of Prem experience
and only 24 plus covers fullback

If we have space under the cap, then that could be a good shout.
Under normal circumstances, you can’t see him wanting to
understudy Marcus, but the fallout from Wasps and Worcester is
       creating some unusual opportunities

Think Quins had to let him go, when he signed he'd given up on
International Rugby now he is back in the International set up
there is no point in the club having 2 playing international
rugby. Hopefully another youngster will come through.

If we sign Umaga he'll probably miss half the season serving
       bans.

As long as those bans are when Marcus isn't on international
duty it won't be a problem

Really don't rate Umaga. I'd not want to see him starting games
for us regularly. Edwards is a better option already

A few years back there were a lot of pundits who had Umaga as a
hotter international prospect than Marcus. They were wrong, of
course, but he was highly rated.
He hasn't developed the way he could have done - but one of the
attractions of coming to Quins could well be to get exposure to
training under NEv and with Marcus. For a fly half looking to
develop his game, there aren't many better places to do it. He
is still both young and talented and as long as he's looking to
learn I would back our coaches to be able to get good
       performances out of him.

Good points, but I would be wary that after a couple of seasons
other clubs will coe poaching and it would be diffcult to
imagine him not being tempted away.

Thought he turned out for Ealing but assumed he retired.
If we are going to bring back any 10, I think I speak for
everyone when I say we need to get Arwel Thomas or Andy Dunne
one last go, even if they are slightly more advanced In age now.
