Couldn't give a fig about the SA teams joining, I'm over it.
Wasn't a massive fan of the Heineken either. It's only ever been
a money tournament for me.

It’s clearly not bringing in BIG MONEY but is helping reduce the
massive amounts rugby loses because it isn’t anything like as
popular as football. Doesn’t mean I care about it as a
competition though.

I thought we did alright considering the quality of the Sharks.
How many of them aren’t internationals. Shame we decided not to
look after the ball at the end and lose out on a point.
How much money is there in this competition for the SA
teams? The tickets were only about £5-8 and there was only a
couple of thousand there. It made the crowd at Irish look good.
The tv money can’t be that good as it didn’t look like anybody
in Durban wanted to watch.

Nick Mullens said over 12,000 announced. The stadium holds over
52,000

Wow that's shocking. I'm guessing the SA crowds have the same
enthusiasm about it as some of us

Personally, I'd love to see Quins win the CC. I've seen us win
everything else (and frankly before the first Prem victory, I'd
thought I'd never see that)!
It's the top club competition in the northern hemisphere.
Arguably in the world. I love to see my team compete at the top
table.
At the moment, the salary cap disequilibrium means that winning
it as an English club is a very tall order but I think we showed
a couple of seasons ago that nothing is impossible!

The country has a population of 50 million. Close to the size of
England. A large proportion are rugby fans.
Sure, not they didn't fill up the stadium, but the TV audience
figures will be very interesting.
The Champions League has needed a shake up, it has become
tiresome to play french teams that don't care and Italians that
can't compete.
I look forward to the rest of the season and look forward to
seeing how the completion works out

If there were 12000 in the ground it must have included everyone
down to the waterboys of each squad and the people running the
bouncy castle and bars. Maybe even any wildlife crawling or
flying around the stadium.
