This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks that we've seemed completely off
at the breakdown -every attacking passage of play feels like a
lottery to keep the ball.

And - not for the first time in recent weeks - a knock on
awarded for a ball that only went backwards off the hands.
He also seems a bit asymmetric in the scrums - very quick to
award advantage to Sharks when they’ve won the ball, but not so
much in similar looking positions for Quins.
That said, Quins’ error count is hurting them more than the
oddity of the refereeing.

Completely inconsistent from the ref. European games deserve a
better standard of reffing.

He was preventing an effective clearout at any rate. But it’s
also pretty hard to place the ball with another player lying on
top of you.

Ugh. This is grim. We've been absolutely sawn off by this ref
when sharks already held all the card.

Weird, not how I saw it. No-one was clearing the saffa out, as
the commentators pointed out, except possibly Low.

I really don’t like the goal line dropout. A brilliant bit of
play by Care (and to be fair, a great response from Hendrikse) -
but Sharks carry it over their own line and still get to kick it
out rather than conceding a 5m scrum.
