Smith injured?

Article in the mail saying he’s injured his ankle out for 6
weeks, but won’t return until the new year. The reason he got
subbed vs England. Anyone else heard anything? Sad news with the
big game coming up.

Marcus has just posted a story on his Instagram of a home
hyperbaric chamber set up, captioned that he’s ‘home for the
next few weeks’, so suggest the injury is pretty much confirmed.

Great. Force him to play a game that wastes his talents then he
gets injured.
Hope he gets back to fitness soon. Probably just in time for the
6 nations!

Frustrating. But at least Allan and Edwards are in decent form,
and in the long run it will probably do Smith some good to have
a bit of time off as long as the injury isn't too serious.

If EJ is still in charge I'd prefer that he stays at Quins than
getting ruined by England. Ford going would be savage on Sale
though... Misses the first half of the season due to injury and
then misses another 1/4 on 6Nations duty.

Didn't one of our resident experts say Marcus is out for the
season? Perhaps he forgot to tell Marcus. And the club. And the
medical team. And the press.
