Just had a look at seats for Friday, never seen so many purple
seats available (STH resales) doubt there will be 12,000 there
on Friday Evening

The club has it as a sellout. So, ticket resales can generate
some good money for the club.

Its not a sellout, rubbish from club as there are green seats
available as well (those that have never been sold)

I believe there's a certain percentage of original seats sold
(is it 95%?) above which the clubs are officially allowed to
call it a sellout.

It’s a sellout according to the rules on what counts as a
sellout. Looks like about 100 seats not sold.

I'm missing the game this week. My third this season. I have not
missed that many since being a season holder back in 2009/10.
But my family has gone through health troubles since the summer
and concurrently a bereavement a couple of weeks ago of which
the funeral is this Friday so I won't be in a great mood that
day.

Whats the point of calling a sellout when it isn't it may
detract people from looking for tickets, how stupid is that?

It prompts people to put their tickets up for resale - which
makes plenty of money for the club
