I probably wasn't the only one who immediately clicked the link
and watched Marler wandering across the half way line looking
innocent in Yokohama??? :)

They had the microphones turned down on the crowd for that. The
Haka was absolutely drowned out by "Swing Low". Just a flash mob
of people in black shirts doing some sort of native dance -
silently!
I mean they're not even very good at it. The bloke at the front
has his arms crossed so we can look over them, can't see if he
has a tongue stuck out. The bloke immediately behind him has
arms crossed over his chest, but in a "going through the
motions" way, and is standing upright with his tongue out. The
next guy back has one arm on his head, one arm on his ribs. He's
crouching lower than any of his team mates. The guy behind him
is staring/tonguing through one arm over his eyebrows one by his
chin and the bloke behind him has his tongue out but arms by
his side!
I hate to think what Craig Revel Horwood would make of such
sloppy workmanship!

Well if 80,000 or so can't drown the noise of a rugby team then
I'm not sure what can!

If everyone of 80,000 belted out Swing Low, then of course you
would know 15 men in the middle would be drowned out. But a
Twickenham crowd is not normally so forthcoming. It usually
takes a few trips to the beer sellers before the crowd finds
it's voice. Only the Haka, in my experience, provokes the
immediate response that it gets. The crowd is then warmed up for
the game to come - an ironic outcome of the exercise.
