Personally, I take "Ruck" reports with a pinch of salt, but
wouldn't it be great if it were true !

If it adds any weight Fissler in TRP says we have fought off the
French for him.

Ruck post some absolute nonsense. But their article is basically
just some factoids thrown around the tweet from Chris Foy, who
is a lot more credible. Add in what appears to be an independent
mention by Fissler (given the additional information about the
late bid from Racing) and I’m cautiously optimistic that this
deal might be on.
Interestingly, Launchbury and Bassett were Wasps’ top two club
cap holders from their player squad, and I think the last two
left from before their move to Coventry.

Straight in at captain for me, taking up some of the cap Lewies
and Marchant will create.
Bath are building a great squad btw potentially getting
Barbeary. They could have 6. Hill 7. Underhill 8 Barbeary,
immense!

If Launchbury does come I wouldn’t make him Captain, too much
pressure after a pretty grim experience. Would be happy to bring
him in, work on getting him consistently fit and just let him
play his game. I suspect that would be influential enough.
