If England want ROG, then I'd suggest getting terms agreed prior
to the WC because the Ireland job will be available after that
as well so get in early.
I still think an English coach is better, not being a nepotist
but other countries don't have the challenges with the clubs
that we do and that makes it harder and more frustrating.
Probably France are the closest hence ROG being a good
option....plus I love his style of play.

Tbh, I'd be VERY happy with Andy Farrell after the work he has
done in Ireland if ROG is more interested in his home country.

Out of interest why? Farrell's got them to #1 in the world, won
a series in NZ, beaten the World Champs. Even if they suffer a
QF exit, I could see them keeping him.
Or have I missed Farrell saying he's off?

Morning Yareet.
I don't disagree that his record has been fantastic but I think
the failure to get beyond the QFs will have a bigger impact and
if he thinks he has a shot at the England job, which in my
opinion he shouldn't, he will walk away. Happy to be wrong but
that's my view.

I'd be happy with either of ROG or Roberston were approached.
Robertson seems to be out of favour for some reason with the
ABs, so snap him up I say!

One of this week’s multitude of BBC pods talked about the World
Cup. If memory serves, Ireland are likely to have NZ or France
(i think) in the QF so a win is far from a given
