despite being in his more advanced years for a player. Also, it
gives us a chance to sign a proper up and coming prospect for DC
to tutor, for when he does go. (Gjaltema/Steele etc are not the
first choice players we need to get the best out Marcus).

Porter also has been solid for Wasps...

I’d also go for Simpson.
Porter has signed for Bristol but I’m not sure if it’s just as
injury cover for Randall?

Team of the Week suddenly looks scarily prophetic

That is very strange. Comfortably the worst I've ever seen
Quirke play. One of Esterhuizen's quieter games. Ditto Murley
though he did his job fine.

Keep Dommers, Andre, Murley, Tyrone, Louis and add someone I'm
no longer allowed to mention, and I can't see Marcus wanting to
go anywhere else as he won't have a better backline to play
alongside. I know money will be the main factor ultimately but
as we've seen with England, you don't get the best out of Marcus
if you surround him with players not on his wavelength...

Does anyone else believe that Randall would be a natural Quin
and would come on in leaps and bounds under DC's tutelage for a
year?

I've always seen him as more of a Ben Youngs than a DC. He is
lightening but seems more interested in the physical battle and
the kicking. Maybe more small-man syndrome than skillset.
Especially with the Bears game plan

Might want to consider less involvement in the physical battle
given his size but, yes, he is a firebrand. That's what I like
about him. Would also like to get one over on Bris for pinching
Sinkler!

We were linked to him a few months back. There was as story in
TRP last sunday mentioning Care wanted to stay but the club had
not made him an offer.
I dont think we will replace him until he leaves. That will
free up the cash for his replacement

Randall's kicking game is the worst part of his game, Care's is
brilliant now
