Don't think it needs to be - we have two first-choice
wing/fullbacks out long term in Lynagh and Green. Getting
someone in to replace them makes sense even if everyone else is
fit.

I think he got injured in an early season warm-up game but might
be wrong.

He played in one Prem Cup game but then is missing again.
I think Bassett is an excellent signing, really like him.
Looking ahead, would be happy to keep him next season if we
could move Chisholm and Morris out.

I would keep Chis. His playing salary is probably close to zero
pounds and he is always useful in Prem cup / a League games as
the experienced player

Rather see one of the kids tbh. They get more from the game.

Agreed. He seems to bring stability, calmness and wisdom
whenever he's in the 23, and we need older players like this to
pass on their knowledge to future generations.

IMO you always need one veteran forward and one veteran back in
an a-League team

I'd have preferred a Launchbury, Willis Or Barbeary given our
current weaknesses, but I've always thought Bassett was a tidy
player for Wasps - not star quality but very reliable finisher
and good under the high ball. I'd rather not see Chisholm Snr
start at 15 again - don't really understand why he was re-signed
at last contract renewal as he's not challenged for a starting
place in the 1st XV for the last 4-5 years and I'm never
confident when he's selected

I'm 54, carrying a few extra pounds but have a reasonable amount
of playing experience, so if that's all that counts I'm
available !
