Maidstone and Audi talking their usual rubbish aside, we are
being beaten up across the paddock in this game and our back row
combination is dire I’m afraid.

Well if you just go by results then fine, draw whichever
conclusions you want to. I go by the fact that we played well
enough to win those matches that we lost, which is most
important. Often, things you can't control (such as missed last
minute forward passes) decide games. These things even
themselves out over the season, and we'll probably win some we
don't deserve to, as well as plenty we do deserve to.
So by all means, if you want to write the club's top 4 ambitions
off after what, 5 games, then crack on.

Quins didn’t play well enough to win those games. That’s why
they lost

Very frustrating. Completely outmuscled. Their second try should
have been called back for a clear forward pass in the build up
to the penalty from which they scored. Northmore 's drop was
unfortunate. Think 12-0 slightly flatters us though. That said,
neither side has created much.

I agree. We’re playing poorly, there’s no doubt about that.
But … as I said earlier, we’ve come back from way worse deficits
(and worse first halves) than this so I’m not going to dismiss
our prospects just yet.
