Andre everytime if fit. Of the two, as the opposition you'd much
prefer Lennox on the team sheet.

Yeah. Lennox has done well but Andre brings so much more that
       Lennox has to learn.
Re Dommers, on the 2W4Q podcast, they said another 5 or 6 weeks
from the horses mouth so that is a problem

       On the other hand...
Lenny gan do a fair bit of the bosh stuff. Imagine having had 40
minutes of that, then you see Andre warming up to come on and
introduce you to the main course...
I'd pick Andre, no question. But what a nice problem to have.

We had this discussion last year when people wanted Oscar Beard
to stay in the side ahead of our more established options. He
didn't, and it was the right call.

I mean all opinions are welcome but are you watching the same
       player?
Totally agree that Andre should start if he’s ready (but gut
feeling says like Smith he’ll be on the bench first match back).
But Anyanwu has done way more than prove he’s “solid”.

‘Way more”. Has he? My take is that he’s had some really good
moments mixed with some that have been pretty poor, which leads
me to the conclusion that solid is actually a pretty balanced
       assessment.
As per Jammy’s post - very similar to Beard last season.

I agree that Lennox has got a long way to go before he's setting
the world alight - let's not over-hype him. I actually think he
may have over-bulked and he'll definitely need to work on his
fitness to be challenging Andre in the future. But he's young,
he's green - he's performing as I would hope at this stage, with
this many games under his belt.
I guess the pretty major difference between this situation and
the baffling Beard hysteria last season is that Beard quite
obviously had at least 3 players ahead of him in the pecking
order at 13 (Marchant, Northmore, Jones) and a raft of wingers
ahead of him too when everyone was going feral on here. Anyanwu
doesn't have that fallback - he is the backup to Andre and when
Andre is away on international duty, Anyanwu will be expected to
step in and fill those boots 9 times out of 10. Big
responsibility but I don't think that's such a bad thing for him
       - I'm looking forward to seeing him develop over the course of
the season. It's just patently ridiculous to suggest that he's
anywhere near Andre's quality yet - nor should he be.

Didn’t even know there was any hype around Beard - why would
there have been? Must have missed that flurry of nonsense.
Anyway, it’s only my opinion, and I can see your opinions differ
       - but I think he’s been the stand out player of the team so far,
made a great debut and showed we might have a stand in for Andre
(No, not the same level - Andre was the best player in the Prem
etc etc). But considering he’s straight out of the academy and
performed well against some of the strongest sides in the league
       - I was impressed.
Don’t want him on the pitch if Andre is fit and playing though -
but that’s how being a kid works.

Beard scored tries in his first start and there was a big old
kerfuffle on here about the idea he'd be dropped as soon as
       Lynagh (or whoever) was back.
Cannot at all agree that Lennox has been the standout player.
Care, Dombrandt, Murley, Northmore, Marchant, Musk, Evans have
all out-performed him comfortably. He's had a few really good
moments that promise a lot for the future, and had a good game
last time out, but he's had some pretty ropey performances too.
