Brizzle

Have we broken brizzle or has Pat Lam got a cunning plan?
I think they're spending too much on 2 props and not enough on
the rest of their squad.
Chiefs looked dangerous last night!

My take on it is a mixture of injuries, a lack of continuity in
there attacking play and a bit of a leadership void.
Briz always conceded points, but defensively their backs looks
all over the place. I don't think they've ever really replaced
Siale Piutau who is one of those 'glue' type players and always
seemed to marshall their backline.
And they've certainly lost their attacking edge. They look a
touch slow getting to the breakdown and aren't generating enough
quick ball. Plus their two best players, Radradra and Charles
Piutau are more out of the side then in it.
They've also been missing Morahan, Harding, Thacker and a few
more first teamers.
Still, even with the injuries, they should be putting up a
better showing. I've a mate at work who's a Bristol fan and he
believes the general mood is not great, and fans have lost faith
in the Lam project.

Sinckler hasn't really looked that good for them. Genge was very
good in first couple of games but a liability on Friday.
Piatau is class but not much he can do without the ball.
Randrada is a bit overrated imo. His offloads more often than
not don't come off and I think he concedes quite a few
turnovers. Maybe not but seems that way to me

Radradra hasn't been able to stay fit and is one of those guys
who needs a few games to hit top form. When he has that, he's
almost unplayably good, practically unstoppable.

What Radradra gives them is the ability to spark something from
nothing. Without him, they seem to struggle to get on the front
foot. It also helped them a lot when they had Earl and Malins,
who weren't quite as creative but gave them an additional
attacking edge.
Sinckler has been a bit up and down this season (having never
really hit top form since his move) - he's had some good games
but also some duff ones. I do wonder if he ever regrets moving
out from under Bomb's wing.
