Agree with KentQuin, our recruitment has been top class in the
last few seasons.

do with him

I can see why we would want Hill. But I don't see why he would
want to come here to play backup to Dombrandt when there are
other clubs where he would be able to come in as a starter.

I expect he'd be interested in coming here to be first choice 6
rather than 8. Assuming there was any mutual interest.

6.Hill
7. Evans
8. Dombrandt
Proper class back row. Kenningham and Evans really does not
work.
Chisholm - always injured
Lewies - see above
Lawday - Good cover, but I can see him leaving next season
Taulani - Remains to be seen if he can step up to the big boys
games.
No brainer in my view. A young talented player, who is also a
leader (something we lack). Can we afford him? I doubt it. But,
if we can make it happen it would be an unreal signing for the
next few seasons.

On the whole I agree. Hill would be a starter at 6 and his
leadership skills would be a valuable asset.
I think it’s too early to write off the combination of
Kenningham though - particularly given they’ve mostly played
without a proper 8 to aid the balance of the back row.
