Great gesture from Sale. Wouldn’t work for Quins are we have a
       decent number of supporters

       It's a 200+ mile round trip from Worcester to Manchester - I
can't see many Warriors fans making that trip as opposed to
Gloucester, Leicester, Northampton or Wasps who are about half
that journey. Smacks of desperation from Sale

Or a recognition that Dimes is still much loved by most at Sale
and we have two players (Langdon and Neild) who were fan
favourites at Sale before moving to Worcester this summer.

Sometimes the big rugby family can appear to be smaller than you

Except where I live in North Shropshire the local college was a
feeder to Worcester, it is about the same distance to Sharks
from here and further to all the other clubs you mention. Your
assessment of geography is quite London centric (as mine was
until I moved here). Lots of Worcester's support cones from the
       Marches.

This just seems like a nice thing to do regardless. Some
Worcester fans may decide to make a weekend out of it in
Manchester or surrounds and take in the rugby as a freebie. If
it helps Sale’s coffers then that’s just a nice biproduct
       really.

Where I live Worcester is (was) probably the nearest Premiership
ground. I go to Manchester for gigs.
Here is a map with where I am on the left and the Worcester and
       Sale grounds.

Wow you can tell we didn't have a game this weekend [emoji6].
For the 2021/22 season, Sale had the second worst attendance
amongst premiership clubs. The Manchester club averaged an
occupancy of 54 per cent in their 12,000 AJ Bell stadium
(6,480), so if you think this is a selfless gesture rather than
a desperate attempt to get bums on seats think again. And it's
still a 200-mile round trip from Worcester city centre so I
genuinely doubt many will take up the offer.

The same "Dimes" that threatened to physically assault a
journalist just doing his job ?We took on Nick David and much
loved Quins stalwart Nick Easter is now unemployed. Are you a
Quins fan or Sale fan - pick a lane.
