Match day experience

First time in a long time I arrived ahead of gates opening, went
via Jason Leonard gate, all fairly impressive and think the new
“ Fan zone” in North is really good
But did anyone else find the PA outside ahead of KO ridiculous?
You couldn’t really hold a conversation in the south village as
it was turned up to 11
To be fair it did get turned down but it was so loud it was
distorted
Is it always like that well before KO?

Yeah I thought it was a bit too loud. For the rest of the day,
the Quins do put on a great match day, but it is too loud.
Also, the new facility looked good behind the North stand.
And finally, my kids (6 & 9) always want to get a picture with
the players. Credit to them, the players do always oblige.
Dino, Lennox, Nick David, Jo Marler, Jack Musk all stood around
for ages. Louis Lynagh did the same and was not even playing.
By the the end I was bored, but credit the players, they kept on
going, smiling for selfies and signing flags Loads of kids went
home happy and bigger Quins fans than before.

I could do without the annoying music because the club believe
the crowd need to be entertained every minute of the game, even
when a player is down being treated by the medical teams. The
beer was good though. Noticed the menus for the real ale bar
(Quins Head) don't actually list any of the real ales they have
on sale, but the queues were small, possibly as a result! North
Stand area seemed a great improvement, even if it did mean
having to park the motorbike in the Rosebine.

The beer menu at the Quins Head was on the TV above the bar

Thank you. I'll point that out to the man who said he was the
manager and apologised for the lack of a beer listing!
But it does highlight the fact all this is teething troubles,
the club will sort it out, I'm sure.

Did anyone try the "order your beer by QR code" thing? I was
handed a flyer but the queues were short so I just bougtht my
beers the old fashioned way.
