Yes possibly. I don't know though, and not sure where to look.
It would also be interesting to see how many tackles he makes 1
v 1, as opposed to assisted by a back row.
Could be that he's doubled everyone else's season tackle count,
run an extra 20 km over the course of the last year, and
absorbed 15G more force than the next nearest. At 23, maybe
that's deemed too much... Who knows?

Agreed it's an exciting match up. I thought Evans was schooled
by Earl in last year's semi-final though, so I hope he's
properly motivated to reverse the experience

To be fair - it was only his second Premiership match of the
season after a very, very long injury layoff. The only other
start was in the dead rubber v Chiefs.

I'm afraid you are right. The side does not fill me with
confidence. The loss of Smith will be felt, especially as I have
a feeling this will be a kicking heavy game.

Well it might, but Allan is a more than able replacement and
he's also played last week so the team should be more settled.
Overall it doesn't look bad, and hopefully Saracens will be a
bit rusty.

As someone commented on another thread earlier, the
"individually tailored" rest periods lends itself to accusations
of abuse/bias, unless the details within are explicitly laid out
for everyone to see. Would be interested to see how Sarries
international contingent are clear to play yet Marcus is not.
That being said, as if we needed any further motivation...here
is some more. Also - if it were to be a kick-heavy battle then
Tommy is a very decent line, place and out-of-hand kicker. Time
to see what the replacements can do and at least it is not the
business end of the season.

Its a farce, but is it the premiership?
For a player to return to matches sooner, they have to receive
sign-off from the Professional Game Board (PGB) and Eddie Jones,
the England head coach.

I have to admit that for all he winds me up, Ben Earl is a very
decent player. I think the impact that he and Malins had at
Bristol has been underestimated.
Overall, the back row match up is very tasty, but Quins are not
going to win if it becomes an arm wrestle. They're going to have
to be faster of thought more than anything else.

Don't forget that Allen started the same fixture last year and
we were on top until Vincent Coc k Koch took him out illegally
and without sanction

I think he was being very fair, I thought he was chuffing awful
against them in the semi and was rightly hooked.
He needs to focus on his role and not worry about the oppo.
Kenners there as an additional threat should keep them honest.
As for poor refereeing decisions, we'll just have to ride that
storm as usual against them.
