All the clubs put out the same tweet at 12pm when Team
announcements are usually made.

Looking at the organised leisure industries as a whole (Sports,
Theatre, Music), the decision not to impose any decision has
left the relevant authorities in an invidious position. Any
"unforeseen event" insurance that might have covered the costs
of postponing/cancelling events is most likely to not come into
effect. So you have industries that are already in financial
peril across the board looking at choosing between seen as
"callous, uncaring, money-grabbing, profiteers" in the eyes of
certain members of society & sectors of the Press, or
potentially seeing loss of important monies that goes to keeping
the sector afloat.

It's an odd one, the right amount of respect is a given but
someone whose mantra was 'keep calm and carry on', I kind of
feel she wouldn't want to be the person who meant others were
put out or inconvenienced. Coming together in groups at stadiums
to remember her feels appropriate.

I’ll second that Banstead. It is an opportunity to show respect
and recognise an extraordinary life.

It appears that Bristol and Sale wanted to play on Friday but
they were outvoted by the teams unaffected who wanted to
postpone the Friday games out of respect.
It's reckoned it will cost Bristol about £200k. They also won't
have any cameras or TMO.

So if all the clubs could just chuck in £30k each, that should
cover our losses. 👀
