Wasn't that the season when we had a ridiculous number of
injuries? I seem to remember we reached a point where we had ~30
players available across the entire squad. At that point, you
don't really get much of a choice in your selection, regardless
of competition.

Except that the Saints team for the cancelled game last night
included guest players (much as the sevens/A league used to).
And if it’s supposed to be a comp for youth players, the squad
selected would suggest that a lot of Quins’ kids were injured.
