Disappointed I have to pay extra for a decent seat. Even more
disappointed that my bank have just sprung this verified by visa
nonsense on me and their phone lines are so busy that they don't
think I'll get through to someon before they close.

Doesn't seem to be Quins' fault. I thought we all got security
verification texts from our banks now.

Lots of people on Facebook outraged/appalled/livid that they
bought the cheapest season ticket seats at the Stoop but are not
entitled to a choice of the most expensive "free" seats at HQ
for the Big Game. Seem to think this is somehow unthinkable.
What's got into them? Isn't it ... "obvious" ...?

The cheapest seats at the Stoop place you within metres of the
action. The equivalent seats in many sections at the Big Game
are as far away from the pitch as the North Stand is from the
South Stand at The Stoop. The drop in quality of view is
severe.
Also, we've been offered the higher quality seats for every
previous Big Game. You know that.

True - but they changed it for the summer big game and Dalrymple
was very clear that this is how it would work from now on.
Now as it goes - in summer it broke up the support so we were
quiet even by the abysmal standards of the morgue that is HQ.
So I’m not sure it helps the atmosphere and I get why ppl might
have originally been annoyed.
But the club couldn’t have been clearer that this is how it’s
going to be.

Got my free seat for my Club season ticket behind the posts in
the middle tier. I was in the middle tier at the summer big game
and it's a pretty good view of the whole pitch, plus it's under
cover, mostly, if it's raining, hoping it's not blowing a
hooley! Also got a parking ticket in the Rosebine just in case
as I assume my trains won't be running due to planned
maintenance, or possibly strikes (if they are still running). So
all in all £15 to watch a game at Twickers, well worth it
[emoji41]

Every BG previously us in the cheap seats at Stoop got the
expensive seats and was sold as a perk for the oiks like us that
would never be able to afford decent seats at HQ.
It was the Harlequins equivalent of the servant's ball for us.
Yes for summer kick off it changed so was expected this time but
as said above it broke the support up so diluted the atmosphere.
Also at Big Summer Kick Off there were chunks of empty seats
where previously us poor people would have been able to sit
