Team Predictions for Newcastle

Some interesting decisions to be made for next week. Looks like
we’ll be without Care, Smith, Esterhuizen for sure and then
Morris, Wallace, lewies, Lynagh, Beard all haven’t been seen
during preseason. Was a pleasant surprise to see Walker and
Marchant get a run out as I did think they could be available
slightly earlier after not getting the gametime on England tour
so good to have them back. I’d start both next week. With this
in mind I’d go with:

Walker
Collier
Herbst
Lamb
Kenningham
Lawday
Dombrandt
Glatjema
Allen
Murley
Northmore
Marchant
David
Green
Musk, Kerrod, Louw, Hammond, Evans, Steele, Edwards, Anyanwu

I think Lenny and Hammond will start. Tough on Northmore but I
only see him as an outside centre or wing. Actually it's more
hope than think.

The players you mentioned quins4life, were all training at the
event on Wednesday. Luke got injured and was on crutches.

In both pre season games they have a long run out to Lennox
Anyanwu at 12. Get the feeling they will use him either with
Northmore or Marchant. May go Marchant on the wing with
Northmore at 13. Other than that without knowing injuries that
looks pretty close to me. Maybe Hammond starting

I would guess that we will go with Kenningham and Evans at 6 and
7, Lawday on the bench. Tight call between Lamb and Hammond, I
would think. And a fair chance that Lennox will get the nod at
12. Since Steele's speed of service was so poor, I would not
have him on the bench.

Stafford off the bench is a better option. Steele hit his peak
with us in our winning season but since then has shown why LI
let him go. He was for a while on the edge of the Scotland squad
but has no chance now

Hammond to start with Herbst on the bench, Anyanwu at 12,
Northmore on bench, Evans and Lawday in the back row with
Kenningham on the bench
