Let's just get this one over with so we can move on to the rest
of the season is my feeling. An LBP would be a bonus I feel
based on how leaky we were defensively last week. I never look
forward to these games as much as I do playing any other club.
As expected, the rest periods for the internationals is pretty
much an arbitrary farce. I'm sure I'll love it once it gets
going but I'm not looking forward to this season as much as the
last few for some reason. Partly because the rest periods could
make it particularly uneven but we face the real prospect of
losing a club.

I think that the league is really competitive these days.
In truth, any team can beat any other team on their day.
For instance, all it takes is one dodgy tackle and red card in
the first few minutes of a game and the bottom ranked team can
beat the top ranked team.minutes.
In my opinion, we are the underdogs tomorrow.
But, we have often won games as the underdog.
Equally, we have often lost games that we should never have lost
in a million years.
Basically, its best not to over-think it and go in to the game
open minded.

The convention on here is to say "we" not "they"...

If their England contingent return I think it could be a fairly
difficult afternoon. Our pack will need to go up a few levels
from what we saw last week for it to be a fair contest, so with
that in mind at scrum time Collier should get the nod depending
on fitness. The back row also needs some re-alignment. I
personally would move Lawday to 6 and Evans to 7.
Considering Care's game time in Australia, I can't see why we
wouldn't consider him to start if other teams are already
thrusting players in who played a lot more, but thats still
balanced out with how rested that player really is. Personally
if they are fit/rested/not carrying any knocks then they should
be included.

I hope they print that out on a big banner and hang it in both
changing rooms.

Not that I think our pack should need any extra motivation for
playing Sarries, but if Tizard is starting for them then I think
the likes of Head, Musk, Hammond and Kenningham will be "well
up" for tomorrow welcoming their academy buddy home.
Like Danny was saying on the BBC pod, the rest periods are
individually tailored based on several factors - two being how
many minutes/involvements that player had last season and also
age. He said himself that he played more games (33 I think)
last season than he's ever played in his career, so his
programme might ask for more rest than the likes of Maro,
Farrell, Genge, Nowell etc.
