Team vs Leinster - Friendly

Internationals Alex Dombrandt (England) and Tommy Allan (Italy)
return to the starting XV this week as Quins tackle European
giants Leinster at The Stoop under the Friday night lights –
kick-off 19:30.
Harlequins’ coaches have named a strong team to host Irish side
Leinster in the first Twickenham Stoop match of the season and
final warm up fixture ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Dombrandt, captain this week, and Allan headline a strong team
to tussle with Leinster in South West London, with a final and
third change to the starting line-up that faced London Scottish
last Saturday seeing popular winger Cadan Murley restored to the
11 jersey on the left touchline.
Joe Marler is set to make a first appearance tomorrow, named
amongst the Impact Players
An extended bench has been named once again this week as the
team look to maximise preparation, with a first competitive
fixture of the season on Saturday 10 September away to Newcastle
Falcons in the Gallagher Premiership.
Head Coach Tabai Matson said: "This Friday is going to be a
great way for us to kick-off a new season at The Stoop. The boys
had a good start to our pre-season preparation away to London
Scottish last weekend.
“Leinster are one of the most impressive teams in Europe and
will give us a great measure of where we are in our prep. It’s
going to be a fantastic occasion at The Stoop.”

Strong side. Smith and Care still in the international rest
period. No sign of Walker or Lynagh though.

Or our club captain
Nothing on the Leinster site regards their side, it's not even
on their fixture list!

To reply to myself, Walker also went to Australia so I guess
also on international rest. Lynagh still injured I assume.

team for the weekend.
