The taxes thing also applies to cider. The taxes are nothing
like beer but cider costs pretty close to beer.

Now Pride is a great step but last night must have been a
terrible own goal, and whilst it was a great opportunity for
Fullers to get new customers in their pubs drinking Pride. Not
after Friday, main bar in East stand 6:50 run out of draught
Pride when I arrived, had a bottle of Pride instead but that had
tun out before ok. Did manage to get a pint at Quins Head but at
halftime no beer at all at Quins Head. Had 2 pints all night, I
know rugby was main attraction but isn't beer part of the
entertainment package.
Really disappointed very poor and don't get me started on last 5
mins of match very poor game management by Quins.

I wonder if this one one of the reasons why Quins asked members
to fill in a form asking if they were planning to go to the
match? If tons of people didn't bother answering then they may
have only been expecting the usual 4000 or so.

That likely wasn't an issue, since they'll have extrapolated
from the dataset they got to get a reasonable estimate of how
many would turn up. It could be that people drank more than they
did before due to the much improved selection, though I don't
have the numbers to know if that's accurate or not.

There was in the Quins Head, the Members bar ran out before KO!
