This is the end for Worcester I would say. Also in rugby paper,
the other 12 wanted to get rid of bye weeks except one team….
Saracens as they have a bye week first they said they were not
prepared for the season.
This means potentially 4 bye weeks this year.

I'm surprised that the clubs were wanting to re-do the fixture
list is this happens. Better to have the extra bye weeks to help
manage player injury/recovery during the season (which is
already shortened because of the early finish to accommodate the
RWC preparations).

You still play the same number of matches, if you rearrange,
everyone gets the same two weeks off.

I feel for their fans, I'm sure that in any ending there will be
a "Worcester" rugby club which will be supported, will it be in
the premiership or championship, doubt it.
What really will be interesting where PR and the RFU stand on
this, they let Welsh go to the wall so I expect no assistance
for Worcester or they may face some "double standards/integrity"
questions which they won't want.
Maybe a chance to re-draw professional rugby in England to a
more sustainable footing.

Well the supporters have not moved house from Newcastle and
moved their family with a mortgage to pay and no salary. It is
the staff I feel sorry for and Nick Easter in particular. Also
very angry with owners

Without sounding very uncaring, businesses go to the wall
everyday and people are left out if pocket, even happened to
myself once.
It's a risk with any job, personally if I were going to be
relocating I would be doing my own due diligence into the
business I was joining, Worcester's accounts and fiscal position
has been know to be tight for years before COVID, if you follow
the golden carrot you can't expect not to be hit with the stick
at some point.
It all just highlights how unsustainable professional rugby is
in England without a very wealthy owner who can stand to lose
millions every year to shore up the club.
Wholesale changes are needed and soon.
