I'm a West Ham fan, and the prices at the LS are ridiculous, but
really they aren't massively ahead of others, including other
entertainment venues. If you went and saw an act at the O2 you'd
pay the same. I recently attended a festival down the road from
me in Maidstone and the prices were for a pint the cheapest was
£6, and if you fancied a rum and coke thats about £8. That
doesn't then include the initial cup price
In New York in May I paid $9 for a guiness!

It’s not overly out the realms of normal pricing. I agree if I
was a fan and compared like for like with Arsenal etc then I’d
be miffed.
I’m not surprised the stadium is attempting to recoup some
costs, but looks as if yet again the deal of the century will
strike again with the comparability clause meaning it’s reduced.
Gold and Sullivan must still be laughing

If people are daft enough to pay high prices then they will
continue to charge them. Stop buying in the stadium and the
prices will soon drop but nobody does. I won’t buy in stadiums
if the price is too high. I’ll use a local pub.

A West Ham supporting work colleague said they were selling ice
creams for £5.00!

I was there last sunday as I also have a West Ham ST. 2.50 for
a bag of crisps (I didnt buy any). As for the beer, there is a
video doing the rounds of one being poured, based on that I
would expect to pay around 77p a pint.

Most of the bar staff I’ve seen are kids barely out of school
who couldn’t pour a glass of milk. Some of the beer is flatter
than Holland as well.
