Hughes was heavily rumoured to be going to Clermont, but I read
more recently that he’s off to Japan. Phipps will get picked up
soon enough. Less sure on Naiyarovoro. He’s played very little
rugby in recent times.
There isn’t anyone on that list I’d be keen for us to go for
TBH.
Kyle Cooper was a decent hooker a few seasons ago but the switch
to loosehead really didn’t do him any favours. Sam Lewis was a
very good openside a little while ago too, but a) we don’t need
another 7 and b) I’ve no idea if he’s still any good as he
hasn’t played much.
For fun an XV could look like:
1. Cooper
2. Cotton
3. Stanley
4. Scotland-Williamson
5. Gaskell
6. van Staden
7. Lewis
8. Hughes
9. Phipps
10. Cipriani
11. Naiyaravoro
12. Burrell
13. Leiua
14. Adeolokun
15. Brown
I reckon we could see that lot off. [emoji12]

8-15 are some fairly big names.
