Glad the butcher's apron has been washed but never realised it
was checquered underneath! Have we given up our away games
already for a spot of chess?

I presume fans would like to be impressed with the playing
shirts as they might want to buy one. I don't think they're
getting uptight. You could just as easily say "hey, we have two
utterly shite shirts why are you getting uptight? No one's
forcing you to buy them!"
As for making them look like t-shirts... what about those of us
who may want to visit an upmarket establishment? It's about time
they incorporated a subliminated tie on one of the shirts,
ideally with a Windsor knot. Maybe have a dickie bow version as
well.

Best away shirt for a long while, for those that complain why
not design a shirt and post the design on here, there will be
proof of it being your design if its nicked as well.

The issue with things like shirt design is that you can't please
everyone.
Make a shirt with a collar. Some people will say that they
prefer a T-shirt style.
Make a shirt that has no sponsor names. Some people will say
that they want a shirt that looks more like the players version.
Make a shirt that has a diamond print. Some people will say that
they want quarters.
Make a shirt that looks amore like the home shirt. Some people
will say that they want a shirt that looks completely different
from the home shirt.
(I have way too much time on my hands . . . )
I really liked the bar code 2015/16 shirt. But, I checked the
comments at the time :-)
InsertQuinsPunHere - not so sure about it
T-Bone - Dreadful
Brown Bottle - no quarters
DazzaS - not keen on it
Mr_B - might get used to it
RodneyRegis - very football
superchris - 'interesting'!
#COYQ - odd
Quin Like Flint - players don't look happy about it
le tiss - o'neills shirts were much better
raedarius - "The away kit disproves the theory that stripes are
slimming. If this shirt makes Nick Evans look a bit solid, it
won't look great in the crowd."
Robertquin - vile
Boonie - Bloody horrible
Rocker - YUK!

I think we got the rough end of this deal. Whilst I appreciate
it has a bit of dirt on the left hand side of the chest, it’s a
decent effort. It’s subtle but not tacky

At least our shirt hasn’t got stars to ‘celebrate’ cheating our
way to silverware.

A couple of our recent tour shirts.
One of them was supposed to be the full harlequin outfit like
the Jester but the logos, etc didn’t show up well - hence the
black bit.
The other fulfills QP’s tie requirement. Not a full Windsor I’m
afraid but you do get a Quins blazer.

I really like the first one. It would go really nicely with my
blazer

I like both of them. The first one obviously the club could
never use as a playing shirt, but no reason why they couldn't
use the second one. Abu Dhabi Quins have had some nice designs
they could nick, and you see decent concepts floating around on
twitter. The ones Quinssa did about 10 years ago were good too.
What I don't know is what limitations the manufacturers have
which might make some designs impractical to do on a large
scale.
Also unfortunately the DHL logo does tend to ruin any design,
but that can't be helped.
I realise that they can never make shirts that'll be to
everyone's tastes. It's just disappointing when the new design
isn't something you'd like to buy, but then I guess it's a £70
saving. I've not bought the last 3 away shirts and last BG shirt
because I really don't like them. I'd happily part with my cash
for a design I like, but fully appreciate that others do like
them.

I think there is an unwritten rule that the away strip will be
white - or will be lighter colours.
But - I know that we had a (imo nasty) shirt that was
green/black that didn't abide by this rule.
