Leading sports psychologist's dire All Blacks warning

So is it like my mother used to say "If you can't say something
nice about someone, don't say anything at all"? Or are the fans
justified in going on to social media, calling out the poor
performances and calling for the coaches heads? (Clearly death
threats are OTT!).

With a dose of /S
You should reread some of the social media comment on your
outgoing PM Boris - this is the top job in the UK. There is a
case to say the top job in NZ is the AB Head Coach.
From the article I rewritten one of the paragraphs - "Social
media adds layers of "scrutiny and stress" to players
politicians and management Senior Public Servants as they try
to turn around a team's government poor fortunes Chatwin says,
and it's something that can be hard to prepare for". Imagine
what they could achieve if they didn't have to up with the
relentless media and public social comments from the pseudo
economic experts - of course that is /s
The underlining problem was that back in 2019 when he was
appointed there was a collective groan of disbelief that someone
with an appalling track record as a head coach - summarised as
(1) 2 0k seasons at domestic NPC (2) 8 Super seasons of
mediocrity at the Chiefs & (3) in his defence Hansen said he is
great coach - but that was as an Asst coach role not Head Coach.
From what I can gather as an outsider Boris lost the country and
his party like wise Foster has lost the country & we will see
what happens with NZR.
My own thoughts are - I thought it was the wrong decision in
2019 & not surprised how things have turned out. I also accept
that NZ's 2 season of covid isolation & the NZ/OZ decision to no
longer play SA teams has thrown a huge curve ball into the mix &
that someone like Robertson may have got the same results.
But's it time to make the correct decision rather even if he
means the ABs won't be in mix for the business end of 2023 RWC.
I do apologise in advance is I have the Boris analogy wrong - I
am guessing here.
