I did. It pays 5.5% interest. The bond was issued for 5 years in
2016 and has now rolled over. I was given the option of exiting
in 2021 but chose to continue with it.
It was woefully undersubscribed - they were initially talking of
raising £15m, then they were targeting £7.5m and eventually only
raised £3m.
Unfortunately the bonds aren't listed (this means that they
aren't transferable and so can't be held in a SIPP or ISA), and
I think this affected uptake.
Initially there were meetings/presentations for bondholders but
these seem to have petered out, and I get nothing from the club
other than an occasional letter.

They have already said that's the plan. Said that this season,
due to availability of Twickenham, last home game was the option
option but next season they intend to bring it forward to
penultimate game

You’d imagine along the lines of “ You want HQ twice” that’s
fine but you will have two back to back away games and final
game of the season away as part of the deal

Is moving to. So it's proof-of-work at the moment, then.
Proof-of-stake also brings its own problems. Yeah, it's better
for the environment, but the underlying system seems... not
trustworthy.

So it creates an elitist group, as the more money you waste
sorry purchase tokens with, the better chance you stand of
getting something. Seems unfair to penalise a fan who is equally
as deserving of a nice experience, than someone whos able to
jump the queue so to speak and stand a better chance, that's not
really inclusive or building bridges with fans.
The club should just have a flat membership per month payment
and its all pot luck. I could happily wave away £10 a month if
it meant I was in with the same chance as Hugh who goes to a
private school or his dad whos currently at the second home in
the south France.
OR, the club send me some money and give me a private box and
I'll happily chuck my full endorsement behind it. One of the two

Unfortunately, this doesn't answer my main question: Why is
blockchain involved in this at all, other than to allow Socios
to make more money from fans?
To me, involving blockchain is ridiculous, because the entire
point of blockchain is to create a system which is decentralised
and trustless, however this is centralised (through Socios) and
you have to trust Socios and Quins that the system is working
correctly. And if that's the case, there's no reason to not just
run it as a database on Socios' servers which Quins has access
to.
