I understand your point but Quinssa are a private organisation
who represent their members. However you’d think they’d consult
them first before making a statement.

We need an official statement from Quinssa then we can decide if
we wish to renew our membership.
And I totally agree with
'what is wrong with paying directly for a product'
My guess is there is more to this than we have been told, ie
what are club making out of signing up

Quinssa seems to have forgotten that they aren’t part of the
club - and don’t represent much of a percentage of season ticket
holders let alone anyone else.

That's often the question with Blockchain-based solutions. One
of the more charitable things said about Blockchain is that it
is a solution looking for a problem.

Is there a legal reason the club couldn't have just done a
lottery based system to make money rather than crypto nonsense,
£1.15 a ticket each week i.e. £5 a month with top prizes such as
bench experience, FOC hospitality, signed goods and lower prizes
of gift vouchers for the club shop or discounts on the big game
or summer kick off matches. Change it up each week with a super
draw at the end of the season for tickets to the awards dinner
or a free season ticket for the next year (North stand Jester,
which could be upgraded to a higher category by the winner if
they wanted to)
It would generate a good profit, I would expect, and they could
even give a % to the foundation to make it even more attractive.
Surely they would get several thousand weekly/monthly
subscribers ticket sales, they could even outsource the admin
work to make it easy.

I like the idea of a Club Lottery! As long as they don't charge
£10 a go or anything stupid.

The club did a lottery quite a few years ago, think it was with
the RL side and profits went to the academies I think.
The foundation have the mightydraw which you can subscribe to.
There used to be a team selling tickets at the games but I don't
recall seeing them last season.

A missed opportunity to make some money for Harlequins
Foundation via a raffle/auction. Could have even split it 60/40;
60 to the foundation 40 to Quins so they are still making
something from it. This crypto nonsense is bad for the fans and
I don’t know anyone that has celebrated us gaining this
partnership other than each parties representatives being put up
on the podium and being told to celebrate it.
Give it two seasons and I can see it fizzling out

Like the Barclays payment thing where we could load money on to
our Season Tickets. Never saw the point of that other than to
track my spending.
