But I still don't understand, what is wrong with old fashioned
cash for buying these amazing deals like viewing a match from
       the Harlequins bench?
If the club wants to make money from these things, what is wrong
       with publishing a price list?
How is purchasing a token (the value of which seems to
       fluctuate) improve the fan experience?

       Absolutely grim stuff, Quins.

Don't know anything about this stuff, but given the
overwhelmingly negative reaction it's a shame to see quinssa
doing the club's bidding rather than representing the supporters

Ok it’s not for everyone, and I won’t be signing up for it, but
       it’s not compulsory
Cant see why Quinssa are being mentioned so much, have they
       direct;y promoted it ?

Phil Gibson, the vice-chair of Quinssa said "Generally speaking,
anything that allows Quins supporters to build a closer
relationship with the playing squad will be encouraged and
       supported by Quinssa".
So yes, they are in on it and I'll be cancelling my Quinssa
       membership.

Based on their twitter, it seems as if they're giving Quins the
benefit of the doubt since I don't think they're too familiar
with it, but they're also asking Quins for clarifications and
seeking feedback from people with more experience in these
matters. They specifically said that "more info is needed before
full support can be given", so cancelling your Quinssa
membership might be a bit premature.

Thanks for the heads-up - just saw the Quinssa tweets. I was
hoping they’d be like the supporters associations for football
clubs that have spoken out against this rubbish.
Will also be cancelling my Quinssa membership.

A lot of talk from Quins/Sarries/Tigers official websites
announcement of this today being about bringing the fans closer
to the club and this being good for “all” fans. I don’t see that
it’s good for “all” fans at all, I actually find it quite
       divisive if anything.
It baffles me why none of these “tickets to a match on the Quins
bench, or tickets to watch the team train exclusively, or pre
match changing room tour with players” idea/incentives they have
conjured up for this initiative instead couldn’t have previously
or currently be used as prizes to win via The Harlequins
       Foundation charity auctions or raffles.
These experiences could have definitely gained The Harlequins
Foundation a lot more donations via auctions/raffles etc and
brought fans closer. Much more so than this “partnership” could
       in my view.
The difference between the two is that this partnership comes
off as a money-grab aimed towards the clubs very fans with these
tokens possibly losing value over time paired with further
splitting the fan base further apart rather than bringing it
together… whereby if these experiences were more so a charitable
contribution to The Harlequins Foundation, I’m sure more people
would prefer to donate more money if any money at all to that
       than what we’ve been presented.
Reading that BBC article linked a few comments up in this post
it was good to hear West Ham fans successfully revolt against it
and their partnership grinding to a halt
