Survey in latest e-mail from the Club

Just a polite request for everbody who has the time (about 5
minutes) to actually complete the Survey in the latest e-mail
from Quins. Just click on the Survey button and off you go.
A subject dear to my heart is Disability Access Parking for Blue
Badge Holders so if you feel like mentioning this in the
appropriate Comments section it would be great.
There are a few Disabled Spaces by the North Gate but they are
all full by the time we get there from the West Country. I have
been lobbying for Parking for Players and Debenture Holders to
be reduced next to the gates and perhaps provided in the near
end of The Rosebine.
Having a bookable in advance Disabled Parking Spot near the gate
makes it so much easier for people with no or restricted
mobility. Quins are a club that care, we just need to tell them
what we want and what is right.
Thank you in advance.

Quite right too Deadly. Main reason my family and I don’t go to
the Stoop is the lack of disabled parking. Last time we tried,
there was nothing nearby so missed the first half. Not been
back since and would love to.

All done. Blue badge parking mentioned at every opportunity! We
have also noticed that there is a huge variance in assistance
finding somewhere to park between different event staff. Some
incredibly helpful others just say its full!!

There's lots of disabled parking marked behind the Stoop,
opposite the flats. Is it actually used for disabled parking on
match days?

Isn't the survey for the disabled and carers to give their view?
As someone that isn't disabled or a carer, I don't think I am in
a position to answer objectively.

Yes. I get there about 2 hours before match and try to get a
spot in North car park so I don’t have to take one of them. I
have North car park pass and need to be at south end of car
park. Although I am a Blue Badge Holder I can do 100 -150 yards
albeit slowly. There are never enough spaces even with these.

Hi Doc, I have not been able to park near the flats for years, I
don’t think they class it as disabled parking on match days! I
mentioned so much other stuff in my responses, I think their
email system will have blown up!

The Survey is NOT just about Disabled Access. I was just
highlighting an opportunity to bring the matter to the fore.
Surely you dont have to be Disabled to care about the needs of
people with Mobility Issues? Do the Survey anyway, we dont often
get a formal chance to give proper STH's feedback.
Once we actually booked a space outside the Langhorn Drive Flats
online only to be told that this was not allowed as all the
Residents have to clear off on Matchdays!
