I like the idea - but, not the way it is branded.
Personally, I like the idea of a sort of "Country Membership"
option.
Basically - you would pay an amount
And - for this, you would get a ticket to one game, or discount
for tickets, etc.
And maybe discount in the club shop.
Plus - access to the "exclusive" digital offers, and access to
all of the offers that we get (e.g. cheap AA membership)
Etc, etc.
But, the key is that the people doing this would then be
"members" rather than just someone who wants to go and see a
game.
I think that someone being a "club member" has a more emotional
connection to the club than someone who just goes to watch the
occasional game.
E.g. You can go and watch Twickenham Cricket Club playing on
Twickenham Green for free.
But, you can also fork out £25 for club membership there. The
games are obviously still free, but, you now have an emotional
connection to the club.

From memory, you can normally buy tickets to the next 2 games.
I'm guessing that the real reason for this is to buy a place on
the season ticket queue for 23/24 season.

They already have a season ticket waiting list. I'd expect that
to remain in place.

This seems to have killed off the reduced price early bird
tickets which were part of the membership benefits.....so it
would appear to be a bit crap franky.

I never managed to get a reduced priced early bird ticket. They
always seem expensive.

This sounds like in the priority window tickets will be full
priced, and early bird follows this.

I like the idea. Increases revenue for the club, which everyone
agrees is needed, and allows those people who aren't ST holders
(like me) to purchase tickets before the general public when I
can go.
Whilst "country membership" might be also be nice in time, this
is a decent first step in that direction, and maybe acts as a
gauge for any interest in an extra tier next year.

I would prefer a bit more clarity.
It states with one priority pass you can buy upto 5 tickets, the
same as season ticket holders, with so few seats open for
individual match sale it's still no guarantee of getting seats
or even seats together.
I would prefer they say that there is 750 priority pass seats
for each match and give season ticket holders an 750 allocation
as well, any left then go on general sale.
At least you would know the chances of getting decent seats.
