you should make sure you know what the question is. However even
from what you've said, changing the 13 is a reasonable way of
trying to get the ball to the wingers more, so I don't know why
you think that it's trying to address the 10/12 axis.

       You’ve clearly never played 13
Unless you have an absolute crowbar at 13, then the amount of
ball the back 3 see is driven firstly by the speed of ball at
the breakdown and secondly by the 10/12 axis.

Plus 109, you clearly don't get irony! I wasn't condoning the
change, I was saying that it wouldn't fix the issue.
Still, all of us 'experts' may well look silly by 1pm :-)

It's a mug's game at best guessing what any coach is trying to
do, especially on the summer tour.

Prediction from the most astute rugby mind on the board:
       Australia 26 England 18
Genge yellow card after being wound up.
       Breakdown shambles

Actually a good start from England. Much sharper and quicker at
       the breakdown.
I’m also guessing “respect the kicker” isn’t a thing in Aus?

To be fair, we'd boo Farrell as well if we could.
Much better from the forwards this week but still nothing in the
backs. Smith, stop kicking start running.

Isn't a thing anywhere except the UK.

Smith isn’t doing himself any favours so far and in my view so
far on this tour is playing himself out of a starting position
in the future when Ford does come back, or if EJ opts for Owen
at 10 and someone like Dan Kelly at 12 in the 6 nations.
Porter I’ve not even noticed so far, and overall again the backs
have been defensively solid and good under the high ball which
is great, but the lack of creativity in the backs is alarming.
Freeman has looked solid, but not spectacular.

Yes, I don't think we've seen a single run from the backs in
open play - apart from kick returns and VP from the base of one
       maul.

We are always going to be our scored tries wise with this
approach. We need Henry on soon…
