Charlie Morgan has asked on other forums that people don't
copy/paste his articles, and given that he's one of the only
journalists out there doing high quality work instead of
clickbait nonsense, I'm inclined to respect his request.

Just open a free account with a throwaway email address and you
can read a number of premium articles a month with no

Not mine, though I did edit it slightly, but here are the main
points:
1. England continued to fail to convert chances in the
opposition 22
2. England are a team that's transitioning from a gameplan based
on kick pressure to a gameplan based on breaking teams down
through phase play, as shown by England kicking 18 times and
passing 155, compared to Australia's tallies of 19 and 111,
respectively. This is down from an average of 27 kicks per game
against Australia from 2016-2021.
3. England lost 6/92 rucks, a sign that players are still
unfamiliar with the system. Expect this to improve as the
players continue to get used to the new gameplan.
4. There are a few points about Australia's attack, but nothing
general enough for me to convey without just copy/pasting the
article text
5. England put themselves in a position to win before collapsing
in the final quarter, similar to the 6N games against Scotland
and Ireland
