       The introduction of the microchipped mouth guards should
       indicate how much brain shaking is happening and hopefully
       reduce the amount of times it happens to individuals . I assume
       there is some sort of measurement and players can be taken off
       the pitch if they get near or exceed the maximum. This still
       won’t stop concussion frequency if tackles like we’ve seen in
       the semifinals and final are not punished properly. It shouldn’t
       be the ref who’s “ruined the spectacle “ it should be the player
       who’s committed the offence.
       It looks really dodgy that the high tackle in the 24th
       minute of the final has now been cited. They had a good look at
       it during the game and most people think it was a red but only a
       yellow given. Because it was a final or because of who it was
       should not influence a decision.
