I would expect that moving out of London would severely hit the
game day takings.
I assume that being in Twickenham means that most people
walk/cycle/train/bus to the ground and can have pre/post match
beers.
However, moving out of town means that most people would drive
and would therefore not bother with refreshments. On the other
hand, they could earn quite a bit of money from car parking.

Im not up for re-locating, the option I would take (not cheap)
Move to HQ for 2 seasons to enable a complete redevelopment of
the Stoop.
Dig down on the existing site to create a sub surface bowl (with
suitable flood defences of course) and then build two single
tier banked stands (north & south) and two double tier stands
with hospitability boxes within the central structure.
This would help, but not mitigate, the NIMBY's who brought a
house next to a rugby stadium regarding height and would reduce
the visual impact of a double tier stand.
Like I say not cheap, not easy, but would be cool.
Oh and put solar panels across all of the roof's, why they
haven't done that is strange as the power generation would be a
good income stream for the club but a nice carbon neutral tick
box.

I think that is a very sweeping statement you would be quite
surprised that a huge number come by car you only have to look
at the Rosebine and the car parks adjacent to the ground. For
those in Kent,Surrey,Sussex, Hampshire and Wiltshire it is
mammoth trek by train and some of us don’t come for the drink!

This is a great idea. Nice steep sided stands please - like
Toulon (although I accept we'd be digging very deep to achieve
this)

Wouldn't want us to move away from the Stoop but I do understand
the benefits, financially, in doing so. I'm also not sure the
fan experience would improve just for moving away.
Loving the sunken pitch idea so that the stands maintain their
current heights but that is some major reworking and the flood
risk of course but that is decent innovation. I think Barcelona
did something similar to get an extra tier in at some point.

A sunken pitch requires specific still/bedrock conditions to be
feasible. Have you ever wondered why there's no subterranean
stations/tube tunnels South of the river in London? It's because
the South side is different soil/bedrock & it's not stable
enough long term. Tunnels would sag over time& need continuous
remedial work...

Why would you leave the current location and move out of town.
Wasps Irish and Sarries have all tried it and come back in 2
cases, and who would bet against the 3rd coming back. It doesn't
work it is a failed model.

Well if we have to leave The Stoop it would seem there are two
choices:- Groundshare in London or move out to somewhere cheaper
and rebuild.
Or, thirdly, find a Rugby/Quins mad sugar daddy.
