They handled it well. Communication could have been a little
quicker (and so less nerve-shredding as deadlines approached),
but I'll forgive them that given how busy that period is.

As I say, it was in the past how I saw it run. Certainly the
club used to have a contract with Whitbread at one time, and
they did all the beer/catering. I wouldn't be surprised if
Greene King haven't the same sort of deal. So they would order
the beer and provide the waiting and bar staff in exchange for a
contract from the club. To me, that still fits with what David
Ellis said. I suspect the club keeps tight control of the rugby
side of life (we don't subcontract keeping the pitch perfect to
some gardening firm for example), but we probably don't hire
toilet cleaners ourselves, we subcontract that out.

They would lose a lot of "casual" support I think, but a lot of
Quins fans in the area and it would be I'm sure be significantly
cheaper to buy the land for a stadium and there is no one in the
"South". On a purely selfish note it works be ideal for me!

Where do you think they could put the stadium?

Guildford or Woking area would be a good catchment area, plenty
of trains to Woking from all over, just outside the M25 for
those that drive. Just don't think personally it will happen.
There is too much history to move out of Twickenham, it's very
       much our "home".

Quins also market themselves as “the London club”.

Could also work if the ULEZ is expanded further as there is talk
       of to encompass Twickenham

Lots of the fans within the proposed ULEZ zone (M25 boundary)
would have to drive so it would be 6 of one half a dozen of
       t'other really
