Does anyone know if there are any issues taking backpacks inside
the StoneX? We want to avoid a repeat of the recent Twickenham
debacle 😫

Nothing I can find which prohibits taking bags into the stadium
although there is likely to be a bag search (no drinks).

You were unlucky unless you are underestimating the size of your
backpack. I saw loads in the West stand area, including one with
a flag conveniently tucked in to poke anyone behind them's eye
out.

Probably quicker to get the tube from Waterloo to Southwark and
walk to Blackfriars. Might even be quicker to walk from
Waterloo to Blackfriars that take the tube via Embankment.
Blackfriars loads from both sides of the Thames.

Isn't it just easier to go on the Overground to West Hampstead
or Finchley Road & Frognal and then just get an Uber.
Basically, there are 3 of us travelling - so this sounds low
stress.
Especially as we are considering buying loads of beer and then
meeting at Richmond at 10:00 am :-)

I guess so but that's still about 20 mins in a car - may well do
that on the way back but the bright excitement of a sunny
morning means a quick change of trains isn't too bad....enjoy
the train beers...

than straight to the stadium?

Yeah this is the route I am taking, walk to Feltham then train
to Richmond first.
