Andre has won RPA player of the Season nominated/voted for by
the players themselves. Great accolade. He says he feels too
South African to play for England! Congratulations Andre but not
unexpected!
Danny won RPA Special Merit Award.

Thanks Adrian. Rugby has so much work to do to become more savvy
on social media. I know It will never be football but it's even
behind Cricket on that score.
Plus, the BBC have always been poor on Rugby but I was stunned
at the weekend that they were showing the Semi Finals but the
Rugby scores page on the website didn't update once until after
the games had both finished.

Just seen that the BBC have put up a special podcast from the
ceremony last night with the RUW boys. Still not carrying the
story on their feed though.....

To be fair, the club wouldn't have known until during last
nights' event that either of them had won anything. The Comms
department would've drafted something first thing. Putting
together an unplanned release with photos that are under
copyright of the photographer & RPA (not the club) & getting
that cleared & up on the site & on "the Socials" in an hour is
about standard for most organizations I would say...
