….and sold out by Xmas like this season. Commercial madness. The
lost revenue as current champions must be enormous. They
produced Hawaiian shirts for the Glos game but no replica home
kit? Could have sold thousands.

But relations with Adidas probably broke down, and Quins aren't
big enough to have any significant income for Adidas, just
unfortunate. All Champions wear was Quins branded not Adidas

I think the Pandemic had a lot to do with the merchandising
nightmare as well, so not all the clubs fault, although the
Double Champs top sizes were a disgrace. Sending out Mediums
with a XXL tag was criminal but it is keeping me on my diet.
Castor want to build their brand and I'm not sure what, if any,
challenges sarries* have had with their stuff although they have
a smaller fan base so might not be as obvious.

If Castore are good and capable of Supplying Rangers, England
Cricket and Newcastle United, Quins should be straightforward

Nice, but not the cheapest. Sizing is snug, quality is good in
my opinion. Supply has been good once in stock. Be interested to
see their take on the quarters.

I think that's a bit harsh. Winning Premiership upped demand,
we likely has pre-agreed stock numbers agreed with Adidas, and
then when we didn't extend contract, they picked up their ball
and flounced out of the playground...

I’d guess it’s nothing to do with the end of the contract. I
think I’m right is saying that Adidas kit is designed and
ordered in autumn then made over the next 6 months or so. That’s
then it. They don’t make any more.
In the years when we decided to wear Adidas kit to match the
pros, there were always issues. If we ran out of anything it was
often impossible to get more stash. Shorts were often an issue
as there is very little demand for XXL replica pairs.
