Team v Exeter?

Presumably we can rest some of the big guns?? Or stick them on
the bench? Just a thought! (I'll be there and cannot wait!!)

After having 3 weeks off, I think we need to at least give ample
playing time to our proposed 1st team - although with subs
coming on early in the 2nd half

After 3 weeks off why on earth? They need momentum especially
after watching that first half.

I really hope they go with their first choice 23 as far as
possible, and win with no injuries! :)

The team don’t need a rest. We need to keep our best XV on the
field so they build momentum. That said, me at 9

I'd say put out as much of the 23 that would be used in the Semi
& potential Final games, BUT make the substitutions early in the
second half or even at half time. The result of our game v
Exeter has no impact on our position or potential SF opponents.
We're nailed in 3rd place & Exe have no chance to get higher
than 5th place. Get game time for the subs as early as possible
to make sure they're ready to go for the Semifinal, especially
in the case of players like Els, David, Allen/Edwards, and
Gjaltema who haven't had played recently. They may be needed to
step up at any time due to injury & we need them firing at full
strength if/when they do.

No. BT sport were very clear yesterday that Saints pair of bonus
points (rather than one) does for Sale and Exeter. It's a
straight shootout for fourth between Glos and Saints.

No. They're guaranteed to finish in the top 8, ensuring
Champions Cup for next season. They're currently in 7th above
London Irish who have a bye week next week. The only team that
leapfrog over them are Wasps who would need either a try BP win
or to score lot of points (at least 19 difference) in a win over
Tigers. Even then, that would only push Exeter to 8th, so still
in Europe for next season.
