Not the best we've played this season but, I suppose they would
have been a bit match rusty with 3 weeks without a game!

struggled. The PA is dire, when you sing the Mighty Quins you
may as well be on the moon and given the reduced ticket prices
and the cost of hiring Twickenham it feels marginal. Surely the
real value question is should we jeopardise the 16th man for
money? If this had backfired then no semi and potentially no
final?

If it had backfired we would still have a semi as Saints lost.
Plus we would have had the Chiefs game to get something
Re the money, keeping players costs. The owners may have
insisted on the club bringing some cash in.

Had a very mixed experience. I enjoyed the rugby and quite
liked the sense of occasion, but...
- The PA was ear splittingly loud. Genuinely, physically
unpleasant. What made it worse was it was such dire audio
quality. I couldn't work out what the announcer was saying and
it was often hard to even tell what the music was.
- I took a smallish rucksack, but got told at the south east
corner it was too big. Had to schlep all the way round the
stadium and then queue-up for ages in a car park. Wasted almost
an hour and only just got to my seat before the game. Even
worse afterwards. 20 Twickenham staff standing staring at a
queue of a couple of hundred fed-up people . Really badly
organised. What made it worse was that other people were
allowed in with a bag. Really soured the experience.
I'd think carefully about bothering again.

I imagine that being a DoR facing Quins is about the closest a
human can get to feeling like Dr Manhattan:
“It is the 66th minute. On a rugby pitch in the sun, I hold my
16 point lead close, breathing in the sweet scent of victory,
never wanting to lose it, knowing that I shall.”

For what it’s worth, I enjoyed the day. In fact, all four
Yareets were at the game (NE lower) with friends and had a fun
day.
Yareet Jnr was in the guard of honour which he loved and Miss
Yareet went from being skeptical about the “stinky rugby” to
waving her flag and dancing.
Makes convincing them to go to BG14 much easier. Which may help
them to become longer-term fans.

I don't think the problem was volume necessarily - I doubt it
was any louder than at the Stoop - I think the problem was a
combination of there being way too much bass, and poor audio
quality. Unfortunately I'm not sure what they can do about the
audio quality, you'd think in a stadium like Twickenham there'd
be so much interference that shielding against it would be
extremely expensive and impractical.

It was absolutely fine at Big Game, and at the Prem Final. I
rather suspect someone won't have their job any more, as it
feels like they just didn't bother to do any sound checks at
all???
