Thanks to everyone posting the names of players on the pitch...
from our seats in the middle tier NE corner, the best we could
barely tell who was who we were so far from the pitch!
Can you imagine what the second half atmosphere would've been
like if that had been a home game?

No, Danny hasn't been gash all season.
He was poor in the first half. Same is true for Smith, Murley,
Lawday, Tizard, Lewies, with some big errors from others too.
Danny stepped up in the second half and was a huge part of the
turnaround.

I reckon we should bin the BIG Game.Atmosphere so much better at
the Stoop and the crowd would have had a much bigger impact on
us and Glos.
Sarries and Tigers way ahead of us but 3rd is pretty reasonable
achievement.Remember the agony of Kingston!

Twickenham is awful. Really bad we lose two home games to go to
a place devoid of atmosphere, with beer £2 a pint more expensive
and dreadful. I get the club needs to be commercially astute but
it’s just not part of the club.
We did well second half. Fair play to Lewies for coming back on
as he did and then symo as well. Wev and big Mattas were vital.
Thank goodness for Marchant. Was tremendous all game.
Please though, let’s keep the stoop as our home ground.

Hope Marchant is not badly injured he did something
somersaulting for the last attempt at a try. Also Murley hurt
his hand. Was anything said on broadcasts? My ears are just
recovering from noise at that Big Game. Could not hear my ref
link at all. We just got away with that and I hope they made
money. Poor game, no atmosphere we were saved by Quinssa
providing a beer and a pint before the match in peace and quiet
normal Club atmosphere. Great to see the 2012 mob! Speakers
pitch side far too loud as others have said could not hear any
announcements.

Great result. But I'm not a fan of games at Twickenham would
have much preferred a regular home game.

From where I was sat (East stand on the centre line) it was a
pretty good atmosphere, at least in the 2nd half, even though it
seemed to be pretty much 50/50 Quins to Glocs fans. The sound
quality for Craig David and the PA announcements was abysmal
though... Couldn't hear a thing.
Enjoyable day out - but if we hadn't turned it around in the 2nd
half I'd probably be jumping on the 'should have played at the
Stoop' bandwagon.
Agree that the Mexican waves should result in public executions
for those participating - especially as the game was still in
the balance with a few mins to go.....
...but we're in the playoffs so COYQ!

Couldn’t agree more. Tried to see it from Dalrymple’s POV but
struggled. The PA is dire, when you sing the Mighty Quins you
may as well be on the moon and given the reduced ticket prices
and the cost of hiring Twickenham it feels marginal. Surely the
real value question is should we jeopardise the 16th man for
money? If this had backfired then no semi and potentially no
final?

A game of two halves. First half we were never at the races,
numerous people before me have highlighted the issues so I won’t
labour it. Second half was a different story. Wev’s introduction
plus Marchant’s chasing down of Olly Thorley seemed to be key
momentum changers.
Got to admit I didn’t enjoy going over the road today. Craig
David was actually half decent but he’s from my era so probably
got more out of it than most. PA stupidly loud in the west lower
and a pretty ropey atmosphere. That said, I understand we’ve got
a good commercial deal for the day and the coffers will have
swelled nicely with the weather being conducive to a nice day on
the beers. Had we not managed to nick it I’d have been very
grumpy.
