Regular league game

With all the razzmataz around the game on Saturday I think it’s
becoming easy to forget that we need a result from it to make it
to the play off stages, as do our opponents.
There are lots of posts on here about order of SFs and where etc
but, having seen so many disappointments over the years as a
Quins fan (albeit not many recently bar Montpellier) I hope the
players can get pumped up and out of their beach wear and also
remember that WE HAVEN’T QUALIFIED YET!
Please can someone talk me out of my pre-match nerves?

No I can’t I feel the same. We have a must win game on Saturday
and to Exeter needing a win would be dreadful. Club and this
board are being far to gung ho.

It is a shame that the Sarries v Saints game isn't on Friday
evening.
It would be nice going into our match knowing what is needed.
Somehow, I can't see Sarries losing at home. Certainly not after
their comments about underperforming last week.
Basically, Saturday is possibly their last home game of the
season. They will be firing themselves up for it. They need 3
points to guarantee a home semi final. (So - minimum would be a
high scoring draw.)

It's a must win game anyway really as if we lose and scrape
through to the playoffs we'll have no momentum. We need to win
and play well to secure top 4 and go into playoffs with proper
momentum

I think Glos are not to be taken lightly, it could be cracker of
a game with tires galore however as has been stated this is a
need to win league game not an exhibition match.
I’m sure this is not lost on the players but I share the
worries, but hope to share the joys on Saturday. COYQs

Two weeks off won't help us either. Also nervous about which
Quins will show up.

It would be nice if we secure play offs before traveling to
chiefs. Then we could put out a weaker team for the chiefs game
(as we did last season for the Sale game).

I think we need to win this and win it well. It could be like a
basketball game with their backline but if we approach it the
same was as Montpellier at home, we should be fine.
With regards to Exeter away, I think it all comes down to who we
want to play as if Saints do pull off a win at Sarries, we'll
then need our strongest side as we could end up 4th.
I think as stated above, momentum is vital so 2 wins and then I
don't think it matters.

The down time actually worries me more than Gloucester TBH. They
have some top players and I’m absolutely not dismissing the
threat they pose, I just genuinely believe we are a better team
with more experience of playing in big games at Twickenham.
My worry is that the 3wk break might mean we lack the intensity
level we’ll need.
It would be nice to know if that break has bought time for the
likes of WEv and Green to recover.
