Willis should be a certainty, especially as Underhill's form has
been patchy of late. Pearson seems like a weird one when you've
got Steward, Arundell, and probably Malins as well - he's a good
player but it seems clear his time as LI's first choice 15
drawing to a close.
Edit: turns out Pearson is not Parton, the fullback. I have no
idea about Pearson.

ENGLAND HEAD COACH EDDIE JONES HAS NAMED THREE HARLEQUINS FOR A
36-MAN TRAINING CAMP LATER THIS WEEK
Alex Dombrandt, Louis Lynagh and Marcus Smith have all been
included in Jones' 36-man training squad later this week, from
Sunday (22 May) to Wednesday (15 May).
All three will link up with the national side following Quins'
Gallagher Premiership clash at Twickenham Stadium against
Gloucester Rugby this Saturday, with music star Craig David set
to headline the Big Summer Kick-Off event.

I think the point that's clear here is that not only are Lynagh
and Murley high quality performers, they're also ridiculously
consistent.

What I find really odd about that squad is that neither Slade
nor Marchant are in it. I'm assuming Eddie's looking at a
Farrell/Tuilagi midfield but I'm really surprised that Marchant
doesn't even make the squad given his versatility and form.

Good point QC, a chance to see what the others have got before
the squad announcement. Else, very harsh on March after the 6N
and his form since.

In his Presser, Jones has apparently said that those not taking
part in the training camp are still in contention. I guess that
there's some like Marchant who Jones knows well enough that he
doesn't need to bring him in for this specific camp.

Pretty crap IMO.
Mako and Ewels make 0 sense. Both have had their day.
Dan Kelly deserved a shot in my view, and it seems OHC and
Radwan have already been discarded...

Some thoughts.
Blamire - his throwing's not been good and McGuigan's in the
squad and is the better player. Jamie George has been dropped
why?
Ewels - come on, the only time we've noticed him do anything was
the red card
Heyes - if Sinckler isn't injured, this is an odd shout.
Otherwise fair enough. Stuart and Heyes as our options worries
me a lot, though
Mako - he's not been brilliant this season and we've a glut of
quality young looseheads. Genge and Rodd should be battling it
out on tour. Tom West at Wasps deserves some recognition.
Bailey - this year's Charlie Atkinson or Jacob Umaga. He's not
yet good enough.
Cokanasiga - he's been plagued by injury and has looked slow and
lumbering. Maybe a last chance saloon under Eddie, but there's
plenty of wings who are in good form and deserve a proper go
(like OHC)
Dingwall - ahead of Marchant? Come on.
Furbank - ahead of Malins? Come on.
Joseph - ahead of Marchant? Come on. Honestly not fussed about
this one though, he looks a serious player already. A
development pick is fair.
Manu - he'll break again.
One actual 12 in the squad and he's mostly playing 10 for his
club. Wooooo

Remember, folks, that this is just a training camp, not an
announcement of the touring squad. Some players are maybe being
allowed some off time rather than calling up for a training
session, particularly those who have been involved with European
games or potential for the knockout stages of the Premiership.
Also Jones may be looking at players on the fringes who he may
have to call up if one of his regular starters is injured.
